Best return for £10.000

Hi there

What is the best way of making the highest return for a £10.000 investment sum.

Would it be an idea to invest in shares whilst the share prices are low.

Cheers Steve

Too vague, I'm afraid. You don't state your risk level, your timescale, your attitudes, etc. Technically the best potential returns come from putting money on an outsider winning at the local horse races or buying lottery tickets, but the chance of those actually paying off is pretty damn low!

How much do you already know about investing? This might help people show you where to look for more information.
