Further to my op, I am finding very low speed and signal strength on my wireless connection at times especially this weekend. I assume other broad band users as network list showing at least 5 or 6 other networks in range, main computer has no problem. Can I fit another router onto the wireless fed computer to maintain higher speed and strength ?

What wireless channel are these other 5 or 6 networks operating on? If you login to your router and navigate to the wireless setting page, you should have 13 different channels to choose from. Pick a channel as far away from those in use nearby.

the list on `wireless network connection` doesn`t show which channel they are on, is there a way to find out ?
