It just winds me up to see people claiming free money. Of the last 13 or so years i've been in full-time work, i've been on the dole for a total of 4 weeks. I used this for what it is meant - a stop gap while i found another job.

Another time i actually chose to do some labouring as a temporary measure in some warehouse.

Some people are in genuine need of long-term benefits, but i think some people (a lot?) are not. They should be forced to do some sort of voluntary work while they find a job!

I don't mean to cause offence, just giving my opinion. You're welcome to put me right if you know different!
