Timing of Balance Transfer / Super BT

I'm just getting back into stoozing again after getting a lot of cards fast and then not having any cards to bt them to at the end of the 0% and I'm now in a position to get credit again.
Previously my SBT card was 0% so this issue didn't arise.
I've read that Egg may be getting wise to larger movements of money and that some credit card companies will only BT if there is a debt already on the card.
My question is when should I move my money from my green Egg card in relation to a BT from Egg to my CO-OP travel card.
Is breaking the T&C still safe or if not, how do I make sure I pay interest for the shortest period of time.

I think you are perfectly safe to transfer a fictional balance [one that isn't really there] to the Co-op from Egg. If you did seriously think that the Co-op would make a fuss and insist that you had a balance to transfer then the least worst option is to BT from Egg first [doing a SBT to your bank] and then BT from Egg to the Co-op on the same day. Egg sends a confirmation e mail a couple of hours after you make a BT with them, so you could wait for that to arrive before calling the Co-op.
On fees Egg green is free except in the initial 0% period and during 'special' promotions which they run from time to time. There's no fee for the anniversary 0% offers fortunately. So you just have to ensure that Egg isn't actually offering you a 'special' rate at the time you wish to transfer the Co-op money through it......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
