Not sure if this is just another nasty rumour, but I heard somewhere today that Gordon Brown is going to advise parents' to tell their children that Santa Claus is dead.

I think it's outrageous!!!!:eek:

    I think government cutbacks are going a bit too far these days.

    Clown is taking the right long term decisions for fairytale characters, ensuring there will be no boom and bust in over-excited children over the full economic cycle.

    So do I. We'd have to tell them he existed first. (New age parents - piece of bark at Yuletide and everyone naked at the break of the Winter Gardens (ed. shurely Solstice?)

    Santa isn't dead. He's just been hit by the credit cruch, and is planning to merge with the Easter Bunny. ;)
