reclaiming bank charges for business

I have read the site quite thoroughly and can find reference as to if i can claim back my bank fees for a company.

I have 2 accounts:

One as a self employed person e.g. Fred Bloggs T/A FBtrading [T/A = trading as]

The second one is a limited company.

Any advice would be most welcome to a newbie on here..

how did you get on? I would be interested to know as I have £3000 outstanding from charges levvied on self-emplaoyed business account, but the bank told me I couldn't reclaim as it is a business!

Hi,
I'm looking for any advice to reclaim bank charges for a business account. Has anyone had any luck with this please? We're with Lloyds TSB and they're charging us an arm and a leg! We've received a letter from Wade and Co who are claiming they can do this. Has anyone heard of them please?

Seems a degree of uncertainty on this matter. From the sounds of it, you cant claim under consumer law but could under unfair penalties regulation...
