E: 18/10 Join the London to Brighton veteran fun

http://www.maturetimes.co.uk/node/6643

MT has teamed up with the event organisers to provide three lucky winners and their guests with the opportunity of seeing the event from the passenger seat of a veteran car at the LBVCR International Concours on Saturday 1 November and receive a 2008 LBVCR goodie bag.

The passenger rides will start in Conduit Street and travel around Berkeley Square - a chance to sample the height of luxury travel over a century ago! You will need to make your own way there.

To be in with a chance of winning one of these fantastic prizes answer this very simple question: in what year was the first London to Brighton Veteran Car Run?

Answer: 1896 :D

The London to Brighton run covers many events from Minis to bicycles, but the ‘granddaddy’ of them all is the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run (LBVCR). On Sunday 2 November the event is celebrating the 112th anniversary of the first Run held in November 1896, making it the world’s longest running motoring event.
