Tiscali broadband taking over phone-line

When i signed on for tiscali they casually mentioned that as part of their package there were free calls for the weekend, i was pleased & thought nothing of it, big mistake 
. They took over the whole phone-line & we received a massive £50 bill for a months use when its normally £9.99 unlimited with talk-talk:mad:!!!!. They did the same with my elderly father without even letting informing him in any way at all.
Its taken me ages to sort this out as tiscali,bt or talk-talk were not willing to take any action. In the end BT were willing to take back the line, but i have'nt told them i am going back to talk-talk yet, but i did get a free shredder from bt as a welcome back present;). But i hope this is a warning to anybody before they go with tiscali.
