Does anyone have any ideas of how to fund studies in USA. Our son is studying in South Carolina. He was funded due to the sports he could offer. He has since developed glandular fever, and is unable to take part in sport.
Therefore he is not eligible for any more help.
Does any one have any ideas of the best way to carry on funding.

I think he'd need to ask his department, and the registry in his university. Being an international you'd not be eligible for any loans or anything and grants are usually only for US students. There might be something over here, the first thing that comes to mind is Fulbright but they're mainly for postgraduates and are extremely competitive. You'd need to hunt around.
EDIT: Oh, I know there are Sally Mae loans, which are a bit like the American equivalent of student loans. I don't know the conditions for them though, and the interest it probably not very favourable.0 -
i think you can get a loan, but it's fairly high interest compared to student loans in the uk, and it will probably need to be in the parents name0
