I've somehow got raze on my comp. I've run AVG,spybot,clean registry and ccleaner. I've no idea how to get rid of it. I did a google search but it was so complicated, going into the registry and deleting, that I'm worried I will do some real damage!!

Try this
start>control pannel>display
then go to desktop tab
after your there click the button "customize desktop"
there click the web tab
Delete the enrty called security (or what ever else u have there) this gets rid of the annoying desktop.

Did what you suggested and after downloading a few other things I managed to get rid of it this am0
