Looking for the right bra

Don't know if any of you could recommend where I could get a bra.
Lol you must be thinking I am the right nutter.
But I will explain my problem.
Am 38G size. Can't find the right bra. Been on those sites advertised on TV, but they show you frilly things and yes, ok they look nice, but the straps really saw your shoulders.
I am looking for something comfy to use at work and normal days, something basic, but that still gives support and with wide straps so that the weight is more evenly distributed on my shoulders and I don't get marks at the end of the day.
Has anybody got any good websites to recommend?

I know this sounds silly but E-Bay.

I find Rigby and Peller fit me wonderfully but I am not prepared (and cannot afford) to pay £60 a bra from R&P direct.

I have picked R&P bras up for £20 on ebay. I think the most expensive ones I have seen are £39.99!!

Always worth a look.

Bravissimo give just as good a fitting service as Rigby and Peller, and they sell more affordable (though not cheap) brands.

They are GREAT for fitting larger sizes.

I've recommended them so often on MSE that some people might be starting to think I work for them or something. I don't. I'm just a very very happy customer.

i dont know where you live but if you google Sadie the bra lady you may have a franchise near you. they are excellent at sizing (i was a 38 FF when i thought i was 40 DD :eek: )and have a good selection, it doesnt cost you any extra if you buy from there either, i always buy the fantasie brand now. HTH

snap with bravisimo i am the same as the ladies above and could not fault them!! even oredering online is easy- Even tho they may seem a wee bit more expensive they last forever!!

Thank you all for all your advice, will trawl through the different sites to have a look.
It is a great thing that nowadays you can get really nice bras for bigger sizes (I usually use naturally close), but now when you're looking for something more simple you can't find it anymore !

Anyway, you all deserve one so I am just going to go back up the messages to say thank you !
