Halifax OneCard BT Fees - Beware!

I've also posted this on stoozing.com.....
All,
I applied for a Halifax One Card a month or so ago, 12 months 0% on purchases and BT's.
I've just made a call to enquire about a BT on the card, 90% max BT confirmed but here comes the catch. I asked what the BT fee would be on that, I was told 2% un-capped. I've read on here, MSE and Halifax that the One card is capped at £50. This however is not the case for applications made ON-LINE.
According to Halifax CS Rep I spoke to all applications made through telephone have a BT fee capped at £50, however all applications made on-line are 2% uncapped. I asked what the reason for this was and was given so blurb about on-line applications being of higher risk as they are open to fraud. Well yes, but you've checked my credit rating, sent me T&C's and offered me a £7500k limit so I can hardly be high risk can I!
They then offered me to switch onto the new 12 month 0% on BT's 3 months on purchases with a £50 cap, which I wasn't to keen on but said if there wasn't anything else they could offer I'd take.
In the process of typing this last paragraph Halifax have just phoned me back to offer me 0% on purchases and BT's capped at £50 for 12 months so problem solved, everyone's happy!
However one to be warry of, if I didn't make the call I could have BT'd £6750 and incurred a heavy £135 fee! So just to advise anyone with a Halifax OneCard, get your BT fees confirmed before you BT!
