Could you not ask the previous occupants nicely for copies of their previous bills?, we have had the same issue as we moved in March and British Gas supplied this house, I have now just switched but it has taken a few months to get some idea of what we're using.
You may have to bite the bullet and give yourself a few months to see what your usage is before doing a comparison and switching, like we didAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
I have the same problem, i have no idea who the old occupants were , i beleive 1 left the country and 1 died, so not much chance of that.........
arnt theer any guidelines or axample figure so we know if we are getting a good or bad deal 1st time ?0 -
We have the same problem - the previous occupant was an old man who was in all day and presumably had the heating on a lot. Also we're going to install a lot more insulation in the loft. Apparently he paid about £30pcm for gas and the same for electricity to Southern Electric.2013 wins: March - book,0
