Best passbook account?

Hi all,
The hubbay and I are looking to get a savings account that uses a passbook, the idea being that we can put things away but not have the debit/credit facility to tempt us to spend! Does anyone know which are the best passbook account around at the moment?
Thanks

I'm a big fan of Skipton BS if you have a local branch. I'd avoid Abbey at all costs, due to their appalling customer service.
Best thing to do is see which companies have branches local to you first, then research futher.0 -

You are very lucky! Search the forums for Abbey nightmares, and if you read the broadsheets at the weekend (money / finance supplements), every week, without fail, there are people writing in to get assistance to help out with Shabby Abbey.
The Sunday Times Money supplement regularly comments this too.
Worst company I've ever dealt with in my life, they lost the business of my entire family, AND my company.0
