i am a student, so i dont have to worry about paying taxes on my intrest. But i wont get all my money at once. ill get it with wages and loan. I have 1k to start with. What is the best account for me? i dont mind if i cant access the money to withdraw it etc...

Egg have a savings account which is fixed until blah blah time.
You want a instant access savings account so you can get access to the money at any time. Even though you said you don't mind keep it away, you never know when you might need it (for instance, student loan doesn't come through when it says it will
)

And FYI, just because you're a student, doesn't mean you don't pay tax. You don't pay tax as you don't earn enough, spread the word, students can pay tax if they earn enough!0
