Hyundai Car Trouble

Am having problems with Hyundai Getz. Only 3 months old but has developed a fault and been at garage for 10 days, with no sign of a spare part yet. Customer Services have been useless, fobbing me off with excuses.
It's under their 5 year warranty, but can anyone help with my legal rights? Is there a case that its not fit for purpose and I can demand that they replace it ?
Will phone Consumer Direct but any advice will be much appreciated. They have arranged a coutesy car but its a dirty 06 Punto.
Thanks in advance.

Well thats very helpful...thankyou very much
Hope I can return the favour sometime.0 -
They seem to be fixing it (or attempting to parts dependant) - you'll get a new part which should last just as long as the part in a new car so it's a little unreasonable (and unlikely) to ask/expect a new car.0

The whole point is that they're not fixing it and I cannot get any idea when they expect to.
I could understand it if it was 6-12 months old but its not. I think there must be a limit as to the 'reasonable' time it should take to fix it.0 -
Just to update - I had to wait 17 days for the part!! I complained and did not get anywhere - just standard letters sent by Customer Services, which failed to answer the points I raised.
Eventually I e-mailed the Managing Director, though I had to take a guess at his address as they would not give it to me. After a week I thought he was not bothering either but we then had a very apologetic call from his secretary - a cheque for £150 compensation with a letter and some flowers.
Got there in the end - just shows you have to persist !!
If anyone has any problems please pm me and I'll pass on the contact details.
