Mac OS X 10.3 and onwards can open Zip files without any need for additional software.

I prefer using The UnArchiver though, as it works just like the built in tool, but is compatible with more formats.

Just double click the zip file in finder and it will unzip.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I tried that but the it copies the file and renames it from Introhealth.pptm to Introheath.pptm.gpgz ? and if I click that it changes back to just .pptm?

  • Right, download yourself a free copy of Stuffit Expander from the Apple website - opens everything. Once installed just right click on the file and select "open with Stuffit".

PPTM is an Office 2007 Macro enabled Powerpoint file, so once you have the .pptm file it's decompressed. You'll need Mac Office 2008, or a converter for older versions to open it. I think Open Office may well open it too, but you may have to convert it.
