I am having problems closing down my PC and opening up the email. Often windows will not close itself down and the email will not open once it has been closed down following reading mail.
I have tried "detect and repair" on the Office outlook and it appears to have installed a new copy, however the problem is still there and to add to it I have lost my address book content and all emails. Have the emails and address book gone for good or can I get it back?
Also how do I sort the original problem?

do a search for *.pst on your hard disk, and make sure outlook is pointing to the correct one.
if it is approaching 2GB, run scanpst on it.
How do it do that?
