    Check this website's 'is your money safe' section to ensure they are FSA covered in their own right up to £35,000. Use a comparison website like Moneyextra to see if the rates they are offering for the sort of account/s that you want (internet/branch/postal, instant access/fixed term, variable or fixed rate, bonus or not, etc etc) are competitive with other banks and building societies. If the answer to all of those is yes, and it's convenient for you, then why not.
    No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.
