Problems understanding N Power final bill!!!
Options
Following from the advice of Martin Lewis, I switched to a capped rate last month.
I thought all was done & dusted recently... until I got my final bills from N Power.
N Power bills have always been a bit of a mystery as they never really made sense, but it has got even worse now they owe me money!
My electricity account balance shows as over £300 credit & my gas at £280 credit - yet they sent me a cheque for £160.
I have called them to ask for an explanation, but they seem to be really bad at math & I'm getting nowhere (did you know that £280 - £35 is £122 according to them
).
Can anyone out there explain their billing methods?! I'm feeling rather out of pocket.
Oh, and a word of warning with their direct debits - they upped my gas about 3 months ago to £44 pcm, but my final bills show I used £35 in 4 months! They also closed my duel fuel account on the 6/9/08 & then took another direct debit on the 16th...
Thanx
