I've just bought a netbook, which doesn't have a DVD drive. What is the easiest way to transfer all my music from the PC to the netbook?

    1) Pen drive (slow, but easy)
    2) Set them both up on the same home network by connecting via the same router and share the drives to transfer the files
    3) If both have internet access, install a product such as logmein free trial product and connect remotely to one PC from the other over the internet to do a file transfer.
    4) Buy a file transfer cable such as this

I like option 2 but for some reason can't get it to work. I've got the netbook on the network, but I can't work out how to share drives/files/printers. The PC is running Vista and the netbook is XP if anyone can help.

Let me know how you get on - I find logmein very easy to use and have had little problems with it.

I would use a USB stick, or SD card if both accept it :)
