Firstly; 1st post, so Hi.
Been with BG HC400 for a couple of years now, and have used them a couple of times to repair white goods, in the past, with no problem, except for the amount of time you have to wait, ..., my fridge freezer has now broken down, engineer visited and said he couldn't repair it, as it's got a gas leak of sorts, and that I would get a call from the office, instructing me on what's next. Received the call, and am now informed, that they'll either give me a refund on the appliance cover for the year, i.e. £30 odd, although I pay £237 per anum, for the cover, which covers 6 apliances in total, <<< funny, or, as a good will gesture £80 odd towards me getting a replacement. Thing is, and not wanting this to be a fridge freezer xmas, do I have any legs in forcing a repair, even if it means they replace the whole innards, as, I expect, the reason it's not repairable, is because it would cost the price of a new unit, if not more, or have I just learned a lesson?
