Yep. Have you filled it up? Doesn't matter if you haven't.
Find a better rate. Post Office has 6.25% which allows transfers in.
Open it up with £0 in, ask for an ISA transfer form from post office and fill it in.
4 weeks later (hopefully) the money will be in the new ISA. If you have anymore allowance left you can fill it up in there.0 -
Sorry to bump this old thing up again. I've recieved my first payment (eventually) and its at a rate of 3.8%. My current ISA which has never been touched is an appalling 2.something %. Is it too late to get a new ISA or will I have to wait until april meaning i've lost money.
I was wanting to go with Kent Reliance BS (6.26% AER) as shown on the site here.
Is that possible? When one of the terms is "I have not subscribed and will not subscribe to another cash ISA in the same year that I subscribe to this cash ISA."
Could I not put my money in my current crappy ISA then transfer the ISA accross?

Yes you can, only if the new provider (Kent BS) allows transfer.
If they do you must open a new ISA with £0. Then fill in an ISA transfer form with Kent. They will then transfer the money across. You yourself are not allowed to do the transfer.
