OK need to do a custom install of some drivers for a windows 98 machine, current installer has no command line options and no debug or logging features.
Any freeware proggies out there to monitor/log the install routine to speed up this build?

Actually this is an overseas charitable project and "To get with it" would cost these people 2 yrs wages, if you can't answer please don't post.
It is win98se, though for the purpose of this project there are no technical differences so wasn't worth mentioningclick here to achieve nothing!0 -
If the problem is the cost of a more modern operating system, why not consider a linux distribution. Linux is no harder to use and manage especially compared to trying to use something that is so out of date. Also it has a great community for support.0

I've used Total Uninstall for similar stuff before, but it's 32/64-bit OS only.
Perhaps an older version supported 16-bit?They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -

Appreciate that guys, but linux is just too major a overhaul of existing plans, plus for sheer speed many distros just can't keep up with win98se on 128mb RAM.
The uninstaller is a good idea and will look into it, know of any that save uninstall info in a plain format?click here to achieve nothing!0
