Do you have uninvested cash in stocks and shares ISA or SIPP?

Just a reminder to anyone concerned with keeping their exposure to any one bank under the £35K level for FSCS protection - any cash you may have in a wrapper such as a SIPP or Stocks and Shares ISA apparently does count towards your £35K limit with the bank which is the "deposit-taker".
For example, if you have any uninvested cash in say Cofunds, this counts as part of your £35 safety net for RBS.

That's a good point which hadn't occurred to me. I've just checked that the fairly substantial amount of uninvested cash currently in my Stocks & Shares ISA is with LloydsTSB, so things could get a bit more complicated if HBOS joins them, as I have savings with Birmingham Midshires.any cash you may have in a wrapper such as a SIPP or Stocks and Shares ISA apparently does count towards your £35K limit with the bank which is the "deposit-taker".
What's that Irish Bank called.....?
