    My flat has stairs (well, three steps but that still counts as stairs). :p

    But I agree with your comment that you won't find new houses in the next 12 months. Most builders will just wait or have to wait because they have no money to build them anyway....or go bust and the land sits empty.

    There's several large blocks of new build flats at Alexandra Palace rail station just completing, all with pastel coloured inserts in the walls and mini balconies. At sensible prices, would be convenient for the Smoke.

    Barratt is currently open to all sorts of negotiation.

    In the Evening Standard a buy-to-let couple negotiated a £40K discount off a show appartment in Sycamore Villas, Wanstead - reduced to £305K.

    The deal also includes a lease-back arrangement which means that Barratt rents the home from the purchasers until at least March 2009.

    It looks like a tiny box to me ;), attached to and next to other similar boxes.
