What is Vendio

I am biding on an Ebay auction in the USA, the vendor accepts paypal but prefers Vendio. Does anyone know what the difference is between Vendio and paypal.

Thanks in advance

................my personal opinion would be, I aint heared of it so I don't trust it!
paypal for all its faults provides buyers with some line of recourse

Ive put it on my comp favourites list to examine a bit more later. It might be a payment service which favours the seller instead of the buyer, therefore you could use it when your selling and paypal when your buying.

I might be missing something, but it looks like 'Vendio' allows you to make payments through paypal anyway. It doesn't appear to have its own payment system.
  • Yeah when I looked at it quickly it just looked like something to help prepare to sell an item on eBay like image hosting etc.

    Currently they don't take paypal

They charge sellers a monthly fee, can't find much about buyers on their FAQ

I'm pretty sure vendio is an all in one auction system (photos, stock control, invoices and accounting) links into PayPal. By using it it allows the seller to process the sale automatically.
