Share Issue in Company

Hi.

I wanted to find out how i can find out the who owns what percentage of shares in a limited company. There are 3 people, 2 directors and a scretary and i want to see who owns what percentage of the business.
I've got the documents available from Companies House but none of these documents have such information in it.

If someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Did you obtain the annual return, as that is the most likely to have the details in?

You could go to the registered office (details of which will be on the Companies House website) and request to see the register of shareholders. Link

The current appointments report or memorandum of association has details of the shareholders and the number of shares each one holds.

The memorandum of association only has the original shareholders at the time that the company was formed. You really need to see the register of members for the true list of who owns what (even Companies House is not the definitive list as legally this only reflects what the company has informed Companies House.)

You can not get a copy of the register of members per se. However, you can look at the Companies House website, find out where the registered office is and then ask there to see the register of members.
