I reckon you could pick up a real bargain on ebay - do you use any kind of sniping software? I have used bidnip before - it gives you some free 'credits' to start with and I set the bid at 5 seconds before the end.

Sar I had that awkward transitional period for 2 or 3 weeks too before my ex moved out. It is tricky, but we coped by just making sure we had space from each other. He was sleeping on the sofa, I had the room, so I used to spend evenings in my room just to get some space and time to reflect etc.
Those ready beds are good - our middle son used one as a bed for a few months coz we couldn't afford to buy a proper bed when he first came out of his cot.
Keep your chin up, it does get easier. I hope you manage to work it out though.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Miss, Miss .... the credit crunch ate my homework .... !!:rotfl:
That is funny though, I think 'credit crunch' has to be the buzzword/phrase of the year ... I'm actually sick of hearing it now. Can't they call it something else now??!!Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

It will get easier Sar - I shared the house with my ex for 9 months until I moved out. The day after we split, I moved into the spare room and then we split the bills 50/50 and we even did our own shopping. We'd go together and buy 'joint' stuff but then put through our own shopping, as if we were house mates. It really was the best thing as we'd become different people - we met at 19 and 24 and 14 years later had changed to wanting different things in life. I only took my clothes, CD's, a handful of cookery books and my desk and chair..........oh, and the cordless drill.....and when he couldn't find it, I shrugged so convincingly every time he asked, he convinced himself he'd thrown it away! :rotfl:
I'm glad we split when we did - we are now friends, not that we call each other up or anything like that, but when he is there when I get Charlie things are fine and we share news and what have you, much better like that than it ever was in the last 2 or 3 years we were together."Stay Wonky":D

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: BB - sorry i had to laugh at this......i think there are such policies, but as I found out in my past job, they pay lip service.....
anyhow, quick update, work colleague has just been round and she agreed with me that my reasons for leaving were perfectly valid but rather than leave she thinks part time would be the ideal solution and I think she is right!!
Its a study day tomorrow so am going round to see my immediate boss to discuss it with her before broaching the partners in the practice. I was worried that i would have to fit my clients into my part time hours but my colleague thinks not...fingers crossed!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Sammy - I am sending you a huge Hug... it sounds like you really need a break from work, I have had to have a couple of weeks off in the past few years as I was about to go under it was either I had 2 weeks off or take the rest of my life off!! I really wish I could help you more.......
P.s I am really good re talking about housework just not that great at the practical.. I blame the fact that I am a single working Mum but that's no excuse as other's manage... just not me!!
Thanks JET, hug gratefuly accepted....I feel like a single mother and hats off to all single mothers out there - its a tough job...even when OH comes home its tough as he is quite useless practically! He's good for a hug at night when I need a cuddle but thats about it...:rotfl: it doesn't help that he lives with his mother during the week and gets spoilt rotten!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
