i don't think we have any birthdays in october...
It is now only 12 days til my holidays in Wales and then 4 days til the minimeet!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Afternoon all.
I feel so old today - and for once, it has nothing to do with grey hair. Has anyone/everyone seen the film 'Notting Hill'? This quote seems quite apt for me today;
'Oh God, this is one of those key moments in life, when it's possible you can be really, genuinely cool - and I'm failing 100%'
Anyway, on a positive note, I have two phone interviews tomorrow for FT positions...nervous and excited all in one here.
Hugs to everyone (particularly IA et al)
EDITED TO SAY: clearly I meant 'feel' and not 'fell' in the title...lolI'm the only gay in this forum

hi all!
Well, last night went really well - they all came back!. Obviously stuff to tweak etc for next week, but at five to 9, they were all ready to go and were clutching a fish pie and a tub of mayonnaiseI have a signer in my class as well now working alongside a learner and she has asked to bring a trainee signer next week to observe, so the merry band grows! :rotfl: I have though today the seemingly impossible task of getting rid of the last remnants of the smell of fish from the fingertips on one hand (no rude jokes :rotfl: ), I have washed and washed and tried lemon juice - twice but still haven't shifted it.
Foot isn't good. Think I ran on adrenalin but once I stopped to start doing stuff like my washing up and clearing down I felt it start to really hurt and it's still hurting today. Did some reading up and it seems it's tendon damage - just where it joins a small bone. Not sure how long tendon damage takes to heal.
Anyway, I have sh*t loads of work to do this afternoon and evening. I have 2 one off sessions which are both running next week which need complete preparation and also next week's Tuesday night class, as well as doing the recipe for the week after that. Not much to do then...and I don't get paid for preparation work....:rolleyes: (guess I won't be earning any AQA money today!)"Stay Wonky":D

Hi all not a regular poster but wanted to add its my birthday too this month :j its the 14th so looks like i'm in good company.
Lucifa wanted to add my N*ps itched like mad the whole way through my pregnancys and also leaked like mad. One day in work I had a lovely red top on and felt a bit weird looked down and there was a huge damp patch and to make matters worst I did not have my suit jacket with me so had to run out at lunch time to buy a new top (black I may add) with my ams crossed to hid the wet bit. Neadless to say i invested in some pads from then on in.
Hope everyone is having a good day.February 2013 NSD - 40 -
