having trouble applying for a job online

hi I'm really sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section.

I am trying to apply for a christmas temp job at WH SMiths. I have to upload my CV but I only have the free openoffice software and they only accept CVs with .doc at the end.

I was just wondering if anyone please had any ideas of what I could do.

If you open the CV in Writer (I'm using Star Office which is the same as OpenOffice) and go to File/save as, you should see the option to "save as type" and click that dropdown menu choose Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) and that should work.
