Ive made some snowman soup for the teachers at school, and would like to include a label, but I havent include the stirring stick. Does anyone have a rhyme which doesnt include the stirring stick line and is suitable for a teacher,

    thank you jay x
I hope that my child, looking back on today
    Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.
  • Have to say I have a real trouble finding mini-marsmallows. Been to all supermarkets(except waitrose I think) and even after asking assistants some didn't know what's that for thing. Only need for one bag, seen some gift sets with mug, hot choc and mini-m-mallows for £8 or so would be a shame to spend that considering I only want some m-mallows:(

I kept looking in The big Asda when I went shopping to a different town and they were always sold out of Fiddes Payne ones and also the bargain chocolate chips. I got lucky once as someone had put them back on the shelf in the wrong place and I spotted them!!

I Went to my local Sainsburys and they had the Fiddes Payne ones in aswell, about 2 boxes full in the home baking isle, on the very top shelf near food colouring etc. Only 99p aswell.

They seem to be the popular ones to buy - one bag lasts for loads of snowman soups! Hope you find some soon!

Hi Jay, I had the very same problem and could only find this verse which didnt say anything about stirrers (You can change milk to water depending on what your hot chocolate says ;) )

    Usually cones are freezing
but this one will warm you up
    Just add some hot milk
And stir into your favourite cup.

How about this, an adpated version of the one I used, which fiverqueen very kindly posted on here:

This Snowman Soup is just for you -
Three spoons per cup (there's enough for two)
Add to hot milk and stir it up
And then - before you drain the cup -
    Sprinkle with the chocolate chips
Give a stir [strike]with the Snowman [candy] stick[/strike],but make it quick,
Top off with the mallow snow
And give your heart a Christmas glow!

Hope that helps. I've got three more to make today but luckily have lots of 'ingredients' left:D !

What about "Top of with some gooey snow:D"
And give your heart a Christmas glow!
