Surely it's not just me that finds it odd that anyone would expect Toys R Us to deliver goods in a plain brown wrapper as if it was sex toys they were delivering? What are you people buying from Toys R Us? :D

I order alot of toys from Littlewoods and they always come in plain boxes and the retail box is inside, also ive ordered from Tesco and Amazon and they are in plain packaging.

I too ordered a Disney kitchen last week from TRU and it came in a brown box but had plastered on the side what was inside, luckily my daughter was at school.

What a brilliant Idea, I will take this up with them that I can offer a discrete wrapping service for an extra £20 an item, then the spoilt brats will not be upset. Monies, Fools and divorces!
  • I think compensation is in order for a ruined surprise and hurt feelings.

    SOGA + COMPENSATION

    Also,

My nephew wanted a football, along with loads of other presents for his birthday. Anyway, I brought one and asked the sales clerk to wrap it up and put it in a bag for me. Imagine my horror when I looked into the bag and saw a round something with wrapping round it.

Good job i looked into the bag otherwise who knows what would of happened.

Anyway, at least my postcount has gone up, unintentionally....unlike the OPs main reason...llol.....

    goodbye!
    wibble wibble

I really do wonder if you think you're funny? Personally I can see it was a petty vent, thats why it was on the vent board and i said it was petty lol. However, if it warns one person who orders from Toys R Us before christmas to be careful when taking delivery thats a good thing, sad i know but i like my child to have surprises.

For what its worth i did complain to Toys R Us and they sent me an email telling me how to send it back. . . great customer service (no i didn't want compensation but a sorry, we will try not to do this to any other kids would have been nice.)

    Peace out :-D

Yes thanks, I'm quite well read ;)... not sure what that has to do with a little boys ruined birthday surprise though. Well apart from perhaps you are trying to disguise your earlier pointless sarcasm as a grasping attempt at the moral highground?
