Called into see my boss for a brief chat. They're looking at the
structure and roles within my area. A "formal" consultation meeting will be held between me, personnel and my boss next week. "Am I a member of a union?" (Not yet) As I can bring along a union rep or a colleague ( I'm not exactly "buddies" with anyone on the same level as myself).
My guess (nothing specific was mentioned) is that they're looking to
change my role significantly, what I'm responsible for and who I
report to and that may mean a new contract with different mgr and
structure.
It all sounds very omnious. To say that I'm not feeling particularly
happy or secure now is a *gross* understatement.
