would I get Employment and Support Allowance?

I wrote a thread earlier today, and i've just found out that IS and IB is changing and new claimants after the 27th October will be on the new "Employment and Support Allowance"

Can i get this then...
It says:-

You may be able to get Employment and Support Allowance if you have an illness or disability that affects your ability to work, and you:

• are over 16 and under State Pension age, and
• are unemployed, or
• self employed, or
• work for an employer but you cannot get Statutory Sick Pay, or
• have been getting Statutory Sick Pay but it has now stopped

If you have paid enough NI contributions you could get contribution based ESA and if you have a low income you could get income based ESA (if you have a partner working this is unlikely). Also you would need a sick note from your Doctor to start the claim and then you would probably have a medical assessment from a DWP doctor to see if you qualify.
