help with two savings accounts

I have money in AA and Sainsburys to make sure I am under 35K in each. From the table in the savings tab they show as seperate , however I know sainsburys has connections to HBOS. I want to make sure they are definately seperate or I will need to open another account. Thanks am trying to do the right thing as some of the money is mums and dont want to get it wrong
