builder recommendation for birmingham

I hope someone can help me and I’m sorry if this is a repeat request (i have searched the forums but couldn’t find a relevant thread)

Can anybody recommend a builder in the Birmingham area. We're looking to have an extension on the back of the house for a kitchen/dining room and I am loath to pull one out of the yellow pages. Reading the various threads on here, Word of Mouth seems to be the best way forward.
i've been on the federation of master builders website and i've printed off a list but i'd still really appreciate it if u could pass on details of someone you've either used yourself or used by family/friends
