You can if you are with Orange, and a Business customer, it's called Single number and it designed especailly for what you want. £30 connection fee, then £3 per month, one number, two devices, whichever device you use the minutes come from your one account. Also has a sepersate number too, so if you want to go out you can take your '2nd' device, give out your second number to friends and as long as you leave your first device on you will not be disturbed unless your friends ring you on your second number.0

He will keep his number, here is how mine works...
I have a SPV M5000 PDA phone and a Nokia 6310i, the Nokia has a car kit, so is classed as Device 1, this means that Device 1 will be the first one to ring if you call me on 0797*******, if I am in my car, I would have the Nokia in the car kit, and it would answer. Once I have finished my driving I would turn off the Nokia, you would call me on 0797******* again, Device 1 is now turned off, so Device 2 rings (my M5000).
I can make any calls from either device, so in the car I use my carkit, whilst out and about I use my M5000, All calls come out of my free minutes, the only other note is that all text messages will only be sent to device 1, I can collect my voicemail from either device.
Hope this helps and clears it up alittle bit more, if not, just YELL !0 -
I don't think you should be giving out your number....
I wouldn't give mine0 -
Here is the sneaky bit, give device two to your wife, so if you call me and I don't answer it goes device two, my wife can take my messages, she then calls me, calling the main number, so effectivelty calling her own number, which is taken out of the free minutes. She uses the phone as normal too, we can even use the two phones at the same time, she can ring her mother, whilst I call mine for example, so she is getting a mobile phone for £3 per month and sharing my minutes.
Thanks I was going to edit my number within 10 minutes, but it gave you the idea of the same number for two devices.0 -
