thanks for your suggestions, but I have already tried to edit the description and it won't 'let me'. I have assumed this close to the end of the auction they blcok changes? I have answered the question, but it is right at the very bottom of the page and very missable.
Don't think there is anything I can do, just hope the peron who wins understands a genuine mistake (I copied the instructions printed on the item and someone else has pointed out that they must be inaccurate - I wouldn't have known that as a lay person, but it turns out they are right.)I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
BB - don't worry, this happened to me as a buyer.
I wanted a Friends DVD with sound in Spanish (rather than just sub-titles) for DD. I asked the buyer, to be absolutely sure, before bidding, he said yes it had Spanish sound. I won the auction, then he emailed me to say sorry, it wasn't Spanish sound, only s-t after all, so if I wanted to retract my bid that was ok.
I did, and there was a place in the reasons to state what had happened, so it didn't adversly affect his feedback - in fact i said how quickly he'd notified me of the mistake, which was a positive thing.0 -
I must've missed that conversation Lingo but we def want them too! I remember seeing them in an outdoors mag some years back and thinking 'how cool is that?!' (I know, must get out more).
BB, really don't worry, we've had similar things when we've had to explain something through a question, at least the info is on the page. If the winning bidder really isn't happy they can not pay you and you can offer it to the second highest bidder or relist altogether. You've given information in good faith so I'm sure buyer will understand.The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

thanks lingo & bails. You are right, I have done what I can. I've just sent a message to the current top bidder & there is nothing more to be done. I will now refuse to worry about it and see what happens.
ROFL just looked up the self bags. Will add it to list of absolute needs:)I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Thriftylass - More free scratchcards? Tell us more, please.
I already do Tak€abr€ak and Butl!n$, which is one of the $t M!nver sites, so can't do L!ttlew00ds, but would love to hear if there are any others.
I'm doing those too. And cheekily signed on to L!ttl3w00ds under different username and email. Someone on a MSE scratchcard board said that's ok and worked for me so far. Some from the scratchcard board even do it on many more sites, but three is enough for me.

I am now the proud owner of a slow cooker. And, as I was at costco on Friday night, I have loads of stuff to cook in it!!!! Does anyone have any favourite recipies they like in theirs? I am going to have a look at the slow cooker thread as well.

My most often use for my slow cooker is a vat of spag bol - with loads of red and green lentils and veg added and often some tvp mince too. Meal 1 is spag bol. Meal 2 is lasagne. Meal 3 is Chilli. But not 3 nights in a row!!!!!
Also really good for 'roast' chicken/ cheapo value turkey leg or, my fav, bacon joint. We eat it either hot or cold for dinner or strip it down for packed lunches - saves a fortune on packup ingredients0 -
One very relieved and happy BB - the item sold to the person who asked the question so she's happy and I'm happy - £26 for something I nearly bunged on freecycle:j .
Lynne - slow cookers so sooo good. I have several favorite recipes and will go look them up and post in a bit. Curently cooked as we speak;
500g puy lentils/280g drained sundried toms/80g onion.140g sultanas/1.5tspchilli powder/1.5tspmixed spice, bit of pepper. Top up with boiling water to top of llentils. Cook 8hrs. We then freezer in packed lunch size portions. Very very tasty - got it from weezl's thread.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
