Hi everyone..
Does anyone know whether this challenge is happening again next year.

BB, you've got it! Nice budget
But cat addict and TTDB you are having really rough time((HUGS)). It is hard to focus on stuff withat going on: it's ok to feel sad and sorry for yourself - sometimes you have to let the pain out so that you can find the strength to carry on again.
I'm sorry too Sophies mum with what you and your loved ones are still going through. Forgot to add the other day I thought your choc dippers looked fab. I am still in shock at your admission you couldn't rustle up a bit of dentistry for SL though:D .
Androm - what a brilliant idea:rotfl: well done. I think you'll find that chocolate is now official completely calorie free due to your extreme frugalness:DI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Was anyone else a member of the 'Tufty Club' at primary school? I can't remember what t was for, just remember the badges we all got. :rotfl:
Another tufty club member here:D we are all showing our age now:D I remember the police coming to our primary school with a roll up zebra crossing and a traffic light and we had to cross the road safely - using the stop, look listen thing. We just wnted the cool badges etc.
When I was in high school we had a lollipop man that was nicknamed Tufty when he was knocked down outside school -(aren't kids cruel:rolleyes: )0 -

Another Tufty member here as well:D My music teacher was nicknamed Tufty as well..Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Well just been to boots for their final Christmas Shopping Evening, and spent £73.54 on shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste:o. Made a saving of £42.10:j and collected 1292pts. 292 for costs and 1000 for spending over £50 on a CSE. Anyhow the money will be deducted from next years budget, as That is what I was buying for. But wanted to get the Head & Shoulders 400ml whilst at 2 for £5.
Just got soap and toilet paper to bulk buy in for next year now and then that's the basic toiletries sorted for 2009.

Hello again all....
I think this is okay now. I'm going to do what you suggested Nyk and allow for 'travel expenses' as and when I use the car (not for work tho). I don't think I can cut it down to 4k, but 4.5k I think for us is more achievable.
(BB - I was impressed with your budget... you [strike]shamed[/strike] inspired me to try abit harder and do 4.5k instead of 5k!
Now I'll stop boring everyone!
Cw - Hope it goes as well as it can tomorrow - thinking of you
