It's so comforting when people remember that stuff, like the kitchen being terracotta (not that I'm any good at it with my Menopausal Memory Meltdown). They obviously think a lot of you.
I'm all melted by the dog too...but how has the picture changed? I can't see any picture on your last email, CW.Or have you changed the original one?
Marru, those films sound ideal for you...enjoy!'Whatever you dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin now.' Goethe

I agree she is so cute. And I think the name does fit.
Thank you Redglass for the giggle. I have seen them both that is why I am not bothered about "sacrifying" the second one for a bath."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

I think pebbles is gorgeous and looks at home in her wee box. You might not be able to get her out of there now!!0

Not just my kitchen that has traces of terracotta -- the hall, stairs and landing carpet is also that colour, as are the borders and curtains in the living and dining rooms. The two main bedrooms are also terracotta and golden yellow in the borders and curtains. Guess I had a bit of an obsession with terracotta when we bought the house 6.5 years ago :rotfl:Cheryl0 -
Good afternoon frunchkins:D
When I went to get in the car to go to town this morning some b***er had stolen all my hub caps:mad:  , they were fastened on with heavy duty cable ties so they must have spent some time doing it.A couple of the other cars had their wing mirrors broken off too:mad: I have no intention of spending another £50 on a new set, whilst we have idiots in the area, so my little car will have to drive round with naked wheels for the time being. Not a good start to the day.
Picked up some bargain veggies/fruit at market - spent £3 out of my budget, also spent £14.99 on a new pair of boots as a treat for myself as I was so fed up about the car:rolleyes: and the budget can stand it.
Just catching up on here then off to do some cleaning/ decluttering.Nice smells coming from the slowcooker ,i love meals that cook themselves:p Glad everyone is having a better day:D
Janey - Janey asked me to let you all know she is okay, just hibernating a little as this was Tom's special time of year. She has relatives with young children visiting today so that should cheer her up a little:p0 -
((hugs)) for Janey. I hope the visit goes wellCheryl0

Hi to all my frugal friends - sorry for not being around, busy, busy, busy over here though.
Just one frugal triumph lately - got myself invited to a Boots "focus group" and was given £30 worth of Boots vouchers PLUS a lovely goodie bag - YAY! First time anything like this has ever happened to me ... plus, I went into Boots a couple of days later and was handed a FREE Gorgeous bag. Life's good when things like this happen.
May you all have such nice surprises
hugs to all
DGIf you see me on here - shout at me to get off and go and get something useful done!!0
