I think there is a £35,000 per person guarantee on deposits covered by FSA - no worries - right ?
Covered to death on these forums.
Icesave is covered by the passport scheme partly by the FSCS.
Kaupthing by FSCS as per all UK banks.
No one is protected by the FSA.
Protection is 35K today, 50K tomorrow. However this is notional - no one has lost a penny in any account, NR, B+B, HBOS etc.
Unlimited for Icelandic savers announced recently today (search the FT).0
