Hello, can someone help out here please?
I just changed from telewest to sky. sky gave me a new email address and i have let everyone know that it has changed, I have been able to access my old email on mail2web to receive emails from any stragglers, but now my contract with telewest has ended i don't seem able to do this any longer, I suppose they have terminated the whole contract now. Is there any way I can accesss my old email address now or divert messages sent to my old address to my new one. thanks

Probably not. You have fallen into the trap of using an ISP provided e-mail account, so don't get caught again! Get yourself some ISP independent e-mail accounts (there are plenty of options) and just use the ISP one for junk mail/spam etc. This makes changing your ISP very easy with no lost of e-mails. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
thanks for getting back to me but.............sorry, I don't know how to go about doing this, any help or pointers in the right direction would help or a webpage to follow.0

Many thanks, taken a look!
Which would you all recommend?
Just basic user requirements, another question, how does this affect my paypal account? I have set up an alternative email address with ebay for paypal transactions so will this mean that if buyers use my new email address I will be paid through this one.0 -
gmail is the one to go for.
Any sites that NEED your new email address, just log in and change under 'account settings':idea:0
