pay as you drive car insurance

Hi can anyone offer advice.
My son has held a pay as you drive car insurance policy with norwich union, since may 2008. Norwich union have withdrawn this type of policy and have given him an option of an alternative policy with themselves at a much higher premium.
Having looked at his policy it was set to run for one year, with monthly payments according to type and time of mileage use. As the policy will only have run for five months, are norwich union legally expected to honour this policy for one year.
Thanks Cath

You could cancel if you had wanted to, and so can they. See the ts + cs.0 -
I used to have Fully Comp insurance with Norwich Union and when i cancelled it they tried to get me to pay them a fee for leaving them, beware they don't try this. I refused as i didn't owe them any money and have heard nothing more of it but some people may just have paid thinking nothing of it.0

Thanks, Didnt really want to hear that, but it saved me wasting time trying to find out. However have found drive- time who offer a similar service at cheaper rates. Found it on this web site page. Thanks Cathy0
