Bank Charges Again

Read your bank statements - they should all be detailed on there - dates, amounts and purposes.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

If, of course you haven't got all your statements for the past 6 years, you can make a Subject Access Request to your bank for a list of all punitive charges.
In the case of Durant vs. LloydsTSB the judge ruled that this is indeed personal data and is covered by the Data Protection Act (1998), and thus, the bank has 20 days to comply with your request or risk being reported to the Information Commisioner.
I find banks usually furnish you with this information after about 25 days - just to show who's in 'control' and stall for a while as it's pretty obvious what you would want the information for.
To start proceedings against them, you will need Dates of the 'fines', amounts and reason (the exact working is important -i.e. Late Payment Charge or Unpaid Direct Debit).
The interest, you will have to work out for yourself.
I will dig out my spreadsheet for it (I had a look last night, I think it went the way of my last HDD, so I may have to get it back from back-up tape) and send it to you.0
