Egg Money Manager with Firefox

It doesn't seem to work with 'Move Money' feature this morning. The drop downs are non-functional so you can't select a payee (etc)

Switch to IE and these features are fine.

Egg have been flashing upcoming improvments to EMM so they seem to have been fiddling with it under the hood....

  • There's a part of EMM that actually work(s/ed) under FireFox?

'To see your other bank account balances on this PC, you need Internet Explorer 5.0 or above. Find out how to install Internet Explorer here.'

I assume the OP just uses it to see his egg account stuff.

Egg money manager uses Activex controls that only work in IE. Add the IE Tab or IE View extension to view it in Firefox.
  • Milarky - Have you had any of EMM work successfully under FF previously?

As pointed out in previous posts, it (along with the parent software from eWise, which Egg have rented/bought) relies on ActiveX. Which won't work with FF.

I have just tried it now (Firefox using IE View) and the drop downs work ok for me.
