Just want to say THANK YOU to all contributors to these daily threads !!!! :T I am not always logged in and never see the "thanks" button, so . . . now I know how to say "thanks" I will be clicking more often.
Very good point newish2this.eshalot2004 wrote: »I agree - its mainly cos we have a quick look without being logged in - but as you say we are amazingly lucky - I remember the days when I would have to be up and about earlish to check the mail myself every day ( there were some halcyon days years ago - 4 coupons in one day at times !) - so do really really appreciate you wonderful reliable MSEers - Thanks!
I'm a little confused as to why you aren't logged in.
I only "Log In" about 10 times a year and 6 or 7 of those will be when I visit MSE on a PC that I've never been on before in an Internet Cafe on holiday, my local library if my ISP has a problem or at a friends etc.
Unless my PC screws up and throws a "wobbly" I'm ALWAYS LOGGED IN to MSE.
Is it because you ONLY LOG IN if you want to actually make a post and then LOG OUT when you've finished ?
If so WHY ?
If not then I don't know why you are not still logged in.
I stay logged in even after closing all windows etc, powering down the PC and rebooting etc.
I just open IE and pick MSE from my favourites and there it is "Welcome quoia"
Only 2 or 3 times a year am I not greeted and I have to log in again and that's always after a PC lock-upThere are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

it's a good point, i was wondering that myself. i am always logged in when i come to the site.
is it because you are looking from a public computer?0 -
I've just spotted a 'EXTRA 20% OFF' voucher for CARPET RIGHT in the Daily Express. It is valid until 8pm tomorrow and you can use it IN ADDITION to any of the sale prices, or normal prices.
This is in the Scottish Daily Express (which I'm still reading, but have failed to find any more amusing articles...though there is a pleasant picture of Jennifer Aniston in her swimsuit)0 -

I live in the south west and the bar codes are always blurry. Then they have to be typed in and it's harder to get them accepted.0 -
I have been to tesco today and the daily mail coupon scanned
with no problems at all without buying the magazine.
The till girl was going to get a mail for the coupon to use as she
said these are few and far between lately.0 -
Now when I first retired, my pension stretched not far
The petrol costs were rising, so I said "Goodbye, dear car"
But now, with trusty bus pass, and this site, which is FANTASTIC
I've found the world's my oyster, and my pension's quite elastic!
With 2for1 on restaurant deals, my diet's an utter treat
There's always somewhere new to go, and lovely things to eat
I cut my MOCs out faithfully, I'm having such a ball
So THANK YOU dear contributors, God Bless You one and all!
