Eon Idiots

Thinking about kicking Eon into touch, For a number of reasons.

First reason rang their call centre a few weeks back, Spoke to a 'robot' type operator who had the Customer Service Skills of a Fish!!

I wanted my monthly 109.00 reducing after paying this for the last 8 months!!

All he said was get your balance down to 0...??

What, How can I get a 0 balance on Electric & Gas.

We do need it.

And secondly, Their 'Main man' openly stating in the Daily Mirror that He doesn't give a S**T how much money he earns this winter.

That's a 'bad' attitude and I don't like that.

Should I go to B Gas.??

Don't blindly go to British Gas as a protest (E.on won't notice or care), only do so if it's the right option for you:

It sounds as though when you get a bill, even after taking into account what you have paid on the direct debits, there is still money owing.
Have you calculated how much you are using/spending each money, there is a spreadsheet knocking about the board that will help.

I suppose though, they could reduce your payments and let you get into the situation of owing several hundred pounds and you could then start a new thread about Eon Idiots.

  • so even though prices have recently increased significantly you think your dd should reduce? or am I missing something? If you've a debt it's likely a dd can't be reduced unless you want to increase your debt.
  • No we don't use much really, I have asked them twice about reducing the DD but they always make an excuse.

An excuse to make more money out of you.

  • Maybe I don't understand your first post then or your response to my post?
    • You seem to have a debt?
    • You're currently paying £109 pm but you still have a debt and you want your DD to be reduced?
    • Prices for average Eon dual fuel users increased by 22% in August, your DD has not yet been reviewed following that increase, you still have a debt and you want your DD to go down?
I wonder why they said no?

If you do, don't forget to buy plenty of jumpers for this winter!

We haven't had any outstanding debt since July, But they still want 109. per month?

I have rang them twice, But they still insist on 109. per month?
