Thanks, Martin - I tried to apply for the lloyds TSB 0% card but unfortunately got turned down - I'll try the "shuffle" instead0

Thanks to everyone for their support - the figures don't include the mortgage, unfortunately. However since I first posted Ive reduced the total by about £700, so hopefully I'm moving in the right direction. I've also taken on an extra job in the evening, so I'm feeling fairly positive. I do get moments when I'm terrified though, but this site is a tremendous support0

Well done - that's fantastic.
You're doing really well. Keep posting, especially when it feels hard. I am working a second job too and have only one day off a week when I do my housework! So not much of a day off!

Well I had my appointment with the cccs on Thursday and my minimum payments for unsecured creditors per month is £1200.............all out of £38 left at the end of the month !!
It will take just under 9 years at £400 a month with the CCCS.
Oh well it take a while to get this deep and a while to get out.
Take care,
Chimp0 -
I wonder if anyone could help me with this query - I've recently been turned down for a 0% card with Lloyds (Dec) and a loan from Alliance and Leicester (Sept). Should i try for another 0% card, or a low rate card, or am I just damaging my credit score by repeatedly applying (for some bizarre reason when I asked for my score from experian it came back as really good, but I still can't get credit!). Any help appreciated0
