Ikea Gateshead - Probably best avoided until Autumn 2006

Ikea Gateshead is currently being expanded, and they have decided in their wisdom to shove returns & home delivery out into a temporary relocatable building (you'd recognise it as a Portakabin-like structure) and have squeezed all the warehouse stock into about 60% of it's previous space.
This will be how it is until Autumn 2006!
Net result is that I went for 4 items (from the same range) that were adjacent to each other in Ikea Edinburgh (I'd been there the day before getting 1 car load) but sprayed over 3 aisles in Gateshead with no rhyme nor reason to what had been shoved where. Staff under siege because not all the labels in store seem to have been updated, or updated correctly. Chaos at the pickup bays too.
Thank god I've got it all now and won't have to go back for a while!

There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice

That is my local store. Going on past experience, it's probably best avoided full stop
Here I go again on my own....0
